IN THE KNOW
South-west rooms have stunning lake sunset views and terraces with hammocks and deck chairs.
The usual suspects: swimming gear, shades, books and sun cream.
Good to know
The lake is ultra clean and quiet due to the engine ban. Additionally any human powered equipment hired at the hotel is free for the first hour.
Inspired by Polish, mediterranean and Scandi cooking the restaurant serves a simple and high quality menu with the focus on fresh water fish delicacies accompanied by locally sourced produce and quality wines. Surrounding of the panoramic lake view, original handcrafted furniture fittings and music adds greatly to an overall arty ambience.
The breakfast buffet is filled with fresh fruit selection, yoghurt, local cheese, muesli, bread, homemade jams and freshly brewed coffee.
The Spa makes full use of the setting and offers outdoor treatments for the ultimate relaxation experience. There is also an indoor pool, steam room, sauna and traditional treatment room.
The hotel is dedicated primarily to adult guests, however on request there are two family suites available for families with children from 8 years old.
The hotel is only 10km away from Olsztyn which is easily accessible by public transport, from there onwards taxis or car hire are simple to organise. There is free on site parking available.
Putting the numerous lakes aside there is a golf course nearby and several biking routes. For hiking we would recommend the Warmia Nature Reserve and Arboretum in Kudypy, and for a bit of Polish folk architecture see the Etnographic Park in Olsztynek. The town of Olsztyn is also pretty and not too far away.
