The Great Palace Kitchen
The Great Palace Kitchen occupies the lower ground cellars of the palace. Meals can be a sociable affair of delicious rustic dining with guests seated around a grand communal table. Inspired by the seasons and the local produce are the creamy soups, fresh vegetables, tender roast meats and yummy puddings.
Breakfasts are included, three course dinners cost 70zł per person and must be pre-ordered in the morning.
Over 12s more than welcome, but not suitable for the younger ones.
Free on site parking. The nearest train and coach station is 10 km away in Kętrzyn, a short taxi ride from the palace.
The Wolf's Lair - Hitler's headquarters during WWII and Poland's most intriguing war heritage site is just a short drive away. Equally close is a number of museums, manor houses and churches (check out the Museum of Masurian Village and the baroque pilgrimage church in Święta Lipka). Kids and adults alike will love the Teutonic Order castles in Reszel, Kętrzyn, Ryn and Barciany.
